  BOWLBY
  
  Glenn H. Bowlby of La Verne, Calif., formerly of Rockwood, died Feb.
  24, 1987, in La Verne.  Born in Meyersdale on April 2, 1918, son of
  the late William H. Bowlby and Kathryn Mae Horner.  Resided on his
  parents' farm in Rockwood.  Graduate of Rockwood High School, Juniata
  College, Bethany Theological Seminary.  He served as pastor of Church
  of the Brethren congregations in western Pennsylvania, West Virginia,
  Ohio and in Pittsburgh and in southern California.  He was a member of
  the La Verne Church of the Brethren.  In addition to his parents, he
  was preceded in death by a son, William, in 1968.  He is survived by
  wife, Helen; daughter, Joanne Johnsen of Modesto, Calif.; sons: 
  David of Lititz, Pa., and John of Mount Baldy, Calif.; also six
  grandchildren.  Memorial contributions may be made to the La Verne
  Church of the Brethren.
