  ALICE L. BOWMAN
  
  Alice L. Bowman, 91, Rockwood, passed on June 19, 2004, at Somerset Hospital.
  Born Sept. 2, 1912, in Upper Turkeyfoot Township, the daughter of the late
  Charles and Minnie (Kording) Miller.  Preceded in death by her parents;
  husband, Norman J. Bowman in 1989; sister, Olive Groff and brother, Alfred
  Miller.  Survived by her children, Geraldine Walker, Somerset, George, married
  to Nancy (Putman), Casselman, R. Devon Bowman, married to Linda (Sipe),
  Somerset and Violet, married to Ron Walters, Somerset; grandchildren: Wayne,
  Dennis and Mark Walker, Greg, Scott and Jeff Bowman, Kim Smith, Larissa
  Bowman, Juliane Brown, Douglas Walters and Sheila Harrison; 19
  great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.  She was a longtime
  member of the Casselman United Methodist Church where she was a member of the
  Ladies' Aid Society.  She was an avid gardener and loved to spend time with her
  family.  She also helped to make fruit baskets for a local florist at
  Christmastime.  Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at Miller
  Funeral Home, Rockwood, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday.  The
  Rev. Ed Myers officiating.  Interment at Somerset County Memorial Park.
  Memorial contributions may be sent to the Casselman United Methodist Church
  at 148 Paul St., Rockwood, Pa. 15557.
