  BOWMAN
  
    Amanda E. Bowman, 83, Meyersdale RD 1, died April 4, 1997, at
  Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.  Born Oct. 31, 1913, in Somerset,
  a daughter of the late Harry and Maggie (Burket) Burket.  Preceded in
  death by husband, Charles E. Sr., and a son, Charles Jr.  Survived by
  2 children, Vernon of Meyersdale RD 1, and Ruth, wife of David
  Faidley, Meyersdale; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.  Sister
  of Hazel Showman, Martha Cramer and Iva Emert, all of Somerset, and
  Thelma Neveling, Garrett.  Friends received at Leckemby Funeral Home,
  where service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, with Pastor Robert
  Stahl.  Interment, Lichty Cemetery.
