ANNIE SHULTZ BOWMAN

  Mrs. Annie Shultz Bowman, Meyersdale R.D. 2, died at her home at 9 a.m. 
Wednesday, Dec. 19, after a long illness.  She was born in Somerset County, May 
22, 1872, the daughter of Conrad and Mary (Krissinger) Shultz, and was aged 73 
years, 6 months and 27 days at her death.
  Her husband, John W. Bowman, passed away about 8 years ago.  Surviving 
children are Mrs. Gertrude B. Smearman, Berlin; Robert L., Wm. H., Emma M., 
Oscar T., and Elmer M. Bowman and Mrs. Mary B. Poorbaugh, Meyersdale R.D.  
Funeral services will be conducted at her home Saturday afternoon at 2:30, by 
Rev. S. Loren Bowman, pastor of the Church of the Brethren, of which she was a 
member.  Interment in Union Cemetery under the direction of W. C. Price & Son.
