  BOWMAN
  
  Clarence R. Bowman, 76, Meyersdale RD 4, died May 29, 1986, at his
  home.  Born Aug. 29, 1909, in Kimmelton, son of the late Milton and
  Elizabeth (Leasure) Bowman.  Preceeded [sic] in death by his wife,
  the former Viola Landis and a son, Sheldon D.  Survived by these
  children:  Luther, and Clifford, both of Meyersdale RD 3; and Wendell
  of Fairhope; also six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.  A
  brother of Melvin, George, and Mrs. Bernice Logue, all of Meyersdale
  RD 4; John of Detroit, Mich.; Paul of Reading; and Caroline of
  Grantsville, Md.  He was a retired mechanic.  Friends will be
  received from 7-9 p.m. Friday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the Price
  Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where services will be conducted at 12:30
  p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Ralph Mills officiating.  Interment, Union
  Cemetery.
