Bowman, 65, of Salisbury, died Feb. 14, 1985, at Meyersdale Community Hospital. Born July 26, 1919, in Boynton, son of the late Clarence and Jemime (Robertson) Bowman. Also preceded in death by sister, Carolyn Vought. Survived by wife, the former Anna Jane Bowers; one daughter, Mrs. Debra Durst of Salisbury; and a grandson, Daniel Wayne Durst. A retired equipment operator and construction worker, member of Local #66, International Union of Operating Engineers, Monroeville. Veteran of World War II and a member of the Salisbury American Legion. Friends are being received at the Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury, where funeral services will be held Saturday (today) at 2 p.m., the Rev. Bruce Brumfield officiating. Interment, Salisbury Cemetery.
