  DAVID A. BOWMAN, SR.
  
    David A. Bowman, Sr., 68, of Akron, Ohio, died September 20.  He
  was born in Meyersdale and resided in Akron 50 years.
    He was a son of David and Sarah Belinda (Brougher) Bowman.
    Mr. Brougher was a member of the High St. Christian Church, Henry
  Perkins Lodge No. 611 F&AM, and the Twenty-Five Year Club of
  Goodyear, where he had been employed 43 years.
    He is survived by his wife, Esther; son, David Jr. of Akron;
  daughter, Mrs. Doris Monahan, California; three grandchildren;
  brother, Edgar, Akron; sisters, Mrs. Ruth Compton, Pennsylvania; Mrs.
  Estelle Houstin, Delaware; and Mrs. Jane Walker, Pennsylvania.
    Funeral services were held September 23 at the Adams Funeral Home,
  Akron, with Rev. Harry E. Smith officiating.  The Henry Perkins Lodge
  No. 611 F&AM held services there September 22.  Interment, Hillside
  Memorial Park, Akron.
