  BOWMAN
  
  Emma M. Bowman, 77, Meyersdale RD 1, died Nov. 19, 1984, at Memorial
  Hospital, Cumberland, Md.  Born Dec. 30, 1906, in Summit Township, a
  daughter of the late John W. and Annie (Shultz) Bowman.  Also
  preceded in death by four brothers:  Robert, William, Nelson and
  Oscar.  Survived by two sisters:  Gertrude Meese, Meyersdale RD 1; a
  brother, Elmer, Meyersdale RD 3; also a number of nieces and
  nephews.  She was a member of the Meyersdale Grace Brethren Church,
  where she was active in church organizations.  She retired from the
  Meyersdale Manufacturing Company with 40 years of service.  Friends
  will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Price Funeral
  Home, Meyersdale, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m.
  Wednesday, with the Rev. Albert Valentine and Walter Fike
  officiating.  Interment, Union Cemetery.
