Bowman, 99, of Sarasota, Fla., formerly of Somerset, died Oct. 31, 1997, at The Pines of Sarasota. Born June 2, 1898, in Somerset County. Moved to Sarasota 11 years ago. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Somerset. Daughter of the late Edward and Anna (Critchfield) Spangler. Preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Bowman, in 1956; sisters and brothers Margaret Way, Blanch Oyler, Frank, Willis and Harry Spangler. Survived by nieces and nephews: Richard M. Bowman, John M. Bowman, Jo Ann McGonigle, all of Somerset; Scott A. and Katlin McGonigle, both of Nashville, Tenn.; Harry E. Bowman of Sarasota, and Richard N. and Nathan C. Bowman of Jacksonville, Fla. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at Somerset County Memorial Park, with Rev. Ed Ebersole. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt.
