  BOWMAN
  
    Mereda S. Bowman, 70, of Monroeville died Oct. 31, 1994, at the
  William Penn Care Center, Jeannette, Pa.  Born Jan. 9, 1924, in
  Berlin.  Daughter of the late J. Webster and Kathryn "Katie" (Platt)
  Sevits.  Preceded in death by her husband, John L. Bowman, in 1992. 
  Survived by three sons:  Jay R. Bowman, married to the former Hazel
  Altman, of Somerset; Roger L. Bowman, married to the former Susan
  Kuhner, of Murrysville, and Gregory J. Bowman, married to the former
  Heather Holmes, of New Kensington; grandchildren:  Jennifer, Andrew
  and Chelsey Bowman; a sister, Phyllis Russell of Somerset.  A
  graduate in the Class of 1942 of Berlin Brothersvalley High School. 
  member of the Monroeville Church of the Brethren.  Member of Prime
  Timers of Monroeville.  Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
  Wednesday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, Somerset, where
  funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, the Rev. Kirby
  Oxenreider officiating.  Interment, Husband Cemetery.
