  R. H. BOWMAN
  
    R. H. Bowman, 69, prominent citizen of Meyersdale, died in Memorial
  Hospital, Cumberland, on Sunday afternoon, April 2.
    Having been a patient in Meyersdale Community Hospital, he was
  removed to the Cumberland Institution a few days earlier.
    An officer of the former Second National Bank of Meyersdale, he was
  retained on the local finance committee at the time of the merger with
  Gallatin National Bank.  During the time of its construction, he was
  treasurer of the Meyersdale Community Hospital.
    Married to the former Helen Baer, he was the father of a son,
  Richard, Albuquerque, N.M.
    He was a past president of the Meyersdale Lions Club, a retired
  officer of the former second National Bank of Meyersdale, and an
  officer in Meyersdale Brethren Church.
    Funeral service was held in Konhaus Funeral Home, Meyersdale, on
  Wednesday afternoon, with Rev. William H. Snell officiating. 
  Interment was made in Union Cemetery, Meyersdale.
