SAMUEL WALTER BOWMAN

  Samuel Walter Bowman, aged 64, died suddenly Tuesday, May 21, at his home in 
Meyersdale from a heart attack.  He was born in Summit Township, June 16, 1875, 
a son of the late Uriah and Julia (Bittner) Bowman.  Surviving are his wife, 
Mrs. Della (Fidler) Bowman, a son, Earl, at home, and these brothers and 
sisters: Peter Bowman, Mt. Savage, Md., Norman Bowman, Bedford Valley, Mrs. Ella 
Miller, Canton, Ohio, and Mrs. Edith Baldwin, Kantner, Pa.
  Mr. Bowman was a member of the Main Street Brethren Church where services for 
him were conducted by his pastor, Rev. O. A. Lorenz, at 2:30 o'clock Friday 
afternoon, followed by interment in Union Cemetery under the direction of H. R. 
Konhaus, mortician.
