  Wayne "A." Bowman, 78, Somerset, died Sept. 21, 2005, at Somerset Hospital,
  Somerset. Born Aug. 26, 1927, in Somerset the son of Homer Franklin and Ruth A.
  (Barron) Bowman. Preceded in death by parents; daughter, Judy Marie Bowman, who
  died in 1965; and sister, Lena Grove. Survived by Maxine Mary Shaulis to whom
  he married June 10, 1945, in Somerset; son, Blaine Alan and wife, Diane,
  Thousand Oaks, Calif.; three grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Roy (Ferne) Saylor,
  Lebanon; and Mrs. Ruben (Norma) Burgess, Colonial Heights, Va. A graduate of
  Somerset High School and California College of Mortuary Science. A member of
  Grace United Methodist Church, World War II veteran of U.S. Merchant Marines
  and retired employee of Forest Lawn Memorial Park, California, with 32 years of
  service. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the
  Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where a service will be conducted at
  1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Grace United Methodist Church. The Rev. Eric Raygor
  officiating. Interment Casebeer Cemetery. No viewing at the church.
