She was the widow of Cornelius Bowmaster, who passed away in 1939. Aged 74 years, one month and 29 days at her death, she was born near Shaw Mines, the daughter of Michael and Catherine (Bodes) Siehl, both natives of Germany. She was a lifelong member of Amity Reformed Church. All of her married life was spent in Meyersdale. Mrs. Bowmaster is survived by two sons, Harry, Cuyahoga Falls, O.; and Ralph, Detroit, Mich., and by five daughters, Mrs. Roger Spence, Detroit, Miss Margaret, secretary in the office of the supervising principal of the Meyersdale schools, Miss Mabel, R.N., Uniontown; Mrs. Howard Griffin, Detroit, and Mrs. John Robinson, Newell, W.Va., and by twelve grandchildren and four great- grandchildren. All of Mrs. Bowmaster's children attended her funeral except Mrs. Griffin, to whom a daughter was born last Friday. Mrs. Bowmaster's brother, Louis Siehl, and wife, of Detroit, also are here for the funeral. Funeral services will be held at the Bowmaster home at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon, Rev. J. E. Gindlesperger officiating in the absence of Rev. N. C. Brown, the decendent's pastor. Interment in Union Cemetery under the direction of W. C. Price and Son. Meyersdale Republican, June 26, 1947
