Auburn Bowser, 68, of Accident, Md., died Nov. 28, 1975, in Meyersdale Community Hospital. Born in Blooming Rose, Md., she was a daughter of James M. and Marsha (Kelly) Fike. Survivors include her husband, Freeman Bowser; four sons, First Lieutenant Reginald Bowser, with the Marine Corps: Gary A. Bowser, Omaha, Neb.; Max Bowser, Gaithersburg, Md.; and Captain Larry Bowser, stationed with the U.S. Army in Germany; also nine grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Hudson, Baltimore, Md.; and Mrs. Vernice Gasspich, Dundalk, Md. Mrs. Bowser was a member of Ashler Glade Church of the Brethren and was a former school teacher in Garrett County, Md. Funeral service was conducted Tuesday afternoon in Newman Funeral Home, with Rev. William Carlson and Rev. Robert Miller officiating. Interment in St. Paul's Cemetery, Accident.
