CARRIE M. BOWSER

  Mrs. Carrie M. Bowser, 99, Berlin RD 3, died December 14, at the home of her 
grandson, George Ross, with whom she made her home for more than thirty years.  
She was born October 22, 1850, and was the oldest resident in Brothersvalley 
Township.  She was blind for a number of years and was cared for by her great-
granddaughter, Carrie Ross.
  She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Annie Lowery of Ruffsdale. 
  Funeral services were held in the Johnson Funeral Home, Friday at 2 p.m., with 
the Rev. Percy C. Miller officiating.  Interment in the Berlin Cemetery.
