Bowser, 67, died May 3, 1984 at the home of his sister, Mrs. Gladys Meyers, Grantsville RD 2, Maryland, with whom he resided. Born near Bittinger, Maryland he was a son of the late George Bowser and Agnes (Yaste) Bowser. He was a Lutheran. He was employed by the Harbison-Walker Refractories. Surviving besides Mrs. Meyers are three other sisters, Mrs. Melva Barley, Silver Spring, Maryland; Mrs. Bernadine Watkins, Ypsilanti, Mich.; Miss Vadne Fern Bowser, Washington, D.C.; eight nieces and nephews and 10 great-nieces and great-nephews. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, where services were conducted by the Rev. David Rockwood. Interment will be in Grantsville Cemetery. The Republic, May 10, 1984 [B2216]
