  BOWSER
  
  Mrs. Cletus Bowser, 67, 219 Center St., Boswell died June 27, 1976 in
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born November 2, 1908 in Rummel,
  Somerset County.  A daughter of Chauncey and Louise (Null) Rummel. 
  Preceded in death by father and husband, Morris O. who died July 23,
  1975.  Survived by mother, Windber RD 1; two daughters, Bernice M.,
  wife of Michael Wojnarowski of Erie and Lucille, wife of Robert J.
  Becony, Boswell; two stepchildren, Jean, wife of William Gray and
  Robert Bowser, both of Akron, Ohio; 14 grandchildren and 18
  great-grandchildren.  Sister of Mrs. Ethel Hunter, Windber, Mrs.
  Betrice Lloyd, Greencastle, Pa., Clair, Windber RD 1, Mrs. Ruth
  Tressler, Everett, Pa., Leroy, Mrs. Violet Bowser and Mrs. Irene
  Gronemeyer all of Windber RD 1 and Robert of Windber.  Very active
  member of Covenant Presbyterian Church, Boswell.  Treasurer and past
  president of Ladies Aid Society of the Church; vice president and
  past president of Boswell Firemen's Auxiliary; member and past
  president of Auxiliary to Boswell Post 461 American Legion; also
  member of Laurel Mountain Senior Citizens Club and Wimodausis Rebekah
  Lodge 217, Somerset.  Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and 2-4
  and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Joseph H. Hoffman Funeral Home, 227
  Allegheny St., Boswell.  Funeral service 11 a.m. Thursday at Covenant
  Presbyterian Church.  Interment, Berkey Church Cemetery in Windber. 
  Firemen's Auxiliary Service at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Funeral Home
  followed by Legion Auxiliary Service.
