  BOWSER - D. Elmer, 85, New Paris, Pa., died at 11:45 p.m. Feb. 28,
  1961, at home.  Born Apr. 12, 1875, in Bedford County, son of George
  P. and Mary Jane (Clark) Bowser.  Survived by widow, former Carrie
  Hoover, and these children:  R. H., Schellsburg R.D.; Dorothy, wife
  of Carl Hillegass, New Paris, and Paul D., Washington, Pa.; also
  seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, three
  great-great-grandchildren and sister, Mrs. Harry Schrock,
  Johnstown.  Preceded in death by daughter, three brothers and two
  sisters.  Member of New Paris Methodist Church.  Friends received
  from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday
  in Mickle Funeral Home, Schellsburg, where services will be held at 2
  p.m. Friday, Rev. Blake C. Anderson.  Interment, Schellsburg Cemetery.
