Bowser (Crowbar), 35, of Somerset RD 2, died of injuries received in an accident on South Edgewood Avenue, Somerset, Oct. 22, 1984. He was born Jan. 22, 1949, in Somerset, son of the late Elwood E. and Verna (Beeman) Bowser. Preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Harley. Survived by his wife of 17 years, Joyce (Younker) Bowser and three children: Bryan, Katrina, and Shawna, at home. Brother of Mrs. Kenneth (Phyllis) Roadman, Mrs. Nick (Ruth) Slifco, Mrs. Nelson (Mary) Bailey, and Elwood Bowser Jr., all of Berlin; Mrs. Harold (Peggy) Bailey and Mrs. Clyde (Sarah) Baer, both of Somerset; Mrs. James (Lenora) Housel, Meyersdale; and Ernie Bowser of Friedens. Employed by Bognar and Company, Somerset RD 1. He was a truck driver for 17 years. Member of the Brothersvalley Church of the Brethren and New Baltimore Sportsmen's Club. Friends will be received 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home where funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m., the Rev.
