Bowser, 81, of 213 West Main St., Berlin, died July 6, 1980, at Meyersdale Community Hospital. She was born Oct. 2, 1898, in Garrett, a daughter of the late Alex and Lulu (Kimmel) Fisher. She was also preceded in death by her husband, David Ross Bowser, who died in 1952; also three brothers. She is survived by these children: Mrs. Helen Cameron, Mrs. Alfred (Kathryn) Christner, David Ross, Mrs. Wayne (Joan) Bush, Jack E., all of Berlin; Mrs. Evelyn Schrock, New Florence; Mrs. Mary Leecy, Cumberland, Md.; William E., Chambersburg; and Mrs. Robert (Kay) Sweitzer, Meyersdale RD 4; also 30 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Also five sisters and two brothers. She was a member of the First Brethren Church and the Harry Fisher Post No. 445 American Legion Auxiliary, Berlin. Friends were received at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home, Berlin, where services were held with the Rev. Ralph E. Mills officiating. Interment, Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
