Bowser, 52, died Monday, Jan. 19, at his home in Johnstown. He was born in Meyersdale, a son of Solomon and Lydia Hady Bowser. He was a production engineer and associated with the Pennsylvania Electric Co., since 1917. He was member of Sunnehanna Lodge, E. and A.M., New Castle Consistory, Oriental commandery, Knights Templar, and the First Christian Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nellie (Dickey) Bowser, and the following children: Mrs. Donald McMillan, Indiana, Pa.; John Bowser, Elmira, N.Y., and these brothers and sisters: Harvey and Elwood Bowser, both of North Industry, O.; Mrs. Anna Bonheimer, Miss Gladys Bowser, Vernon and Bud Bowser, all of Somerset. Funeral services on Thursday, at 2:00 p.m. at H. M. Picking mortuary, Rev. C. H. Schnars officiating. Burial in the Husband Cemetery, Somerset. Meyersdale Republican, January 22, 1948
