  BOWSER
  
  John S. Bowser, 72, of Hooversville RD 1, died June 23, 1979 in the
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born July 17, 1906 in Meyersdale, the
  son of the late Marshall and Lila (Mosholder) Bowser.  Preceded in
  death by a son, Earl, three sisters, and two brothers.  Survived by
  his wife, the former Lula Riley, and these children:  Mrs. Lois
  Younker and Mrs. Betty Kosic both of Somerset; John Jr. and Mrs.
  Wilma Reed of Stoystown; Harold of Somerset RD 3; and Roy of
  Hooversville; also 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and
  five step-grandchildren.  Friends are being received at the Wilbur D.
  Miller Funeral Home where funeral services will be conducted Tuesday
  at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Leonard Day officiating.  Interment, St.
  John's Cemetery.
