LYDIA ELLEN BOWSER

  Accident, Md., Sept. 13 - Mrs. Lydia Ellen Bowser, nee Fresh, wife of William 
Frederick Bowser, died Sunday afternoon, Sept. 4, at the age of 49 years, 4 
months and 21 days.  She was born March 13, 1883, near Accident, and married in 
1904.  She was the mother of eight children, two of whom preceded her in death.  
In the year 1912 she was received into membership of Zion Lutheran Church, of 
Accident, of which Church she remained a faithful member until called to her 
heavenly home after a long illness.  She is mourned by her husband, six 
children, four grandchildren, two brothers and one sister and a host of other 
relatives and friends.  Funeral services were conducted Wednesday morning in 
Zion Lutheran Church by her pastor, Rev. A. W. Gode.
