Bowser, 91, of Salisbury, formerly of Listonburg, died Nov. 6, 2002 in Rest Assured Living Center, Meyersdale. Born Nov. 22, 1910 in Garrett County, Md., the daughter of the late Norman and Mazie (Lininger) Fisher. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harry F. Bowser; brothers Paul and Floyd Fisher; sisters Clara Ewing, Marie Grossman, Edna Hamilton, Grace Glotfelty, and an infant sister Dolly. Survived by daughters Mabel Beckett and husband Forrest of Russell, Ethelyn Wilson and husband Russell of Salisbury, son Richard Bowser and wife Peggy of Wagner, S.C.; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sisters Ruth Spear of Listonburg, Mary Alice Butler of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Verna Jenkins of Uniontown; and brother Nelson "Bud" Fisher of Confluence. Member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Salisbury. Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday with the Rev.
