Bowser, 76, of RD 1, Box 52, Grantsville, Md., died Monday, Sept. 23, 1985, at Meyersdale Community Hospital. He was born in Unamus [sic], son of the late Amos Bowser and Carrie (Morgan) Bowser. He was a farmer. His wife, the former Virginia C. McClintock, died in 1984. He is survived by five sons: Richard Bowser, Morgan; Wilbur Bowser, Cecil; Carl Bowser, Max Bowser and Vernon Bowser, all of Grantsville, Md.; one brother, Charles Bowser, Waynesburg; six sisters: Mrs. Freda Lichty, Canonsburg; Zelda, of Florida; Betty, of Brentwood; Mrs. Homey Folk, Pleasant Hills; Mrs. Alice Glover, Irwin; Mrs. Mary Harman, Las Vegas, Nev.; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, where services were conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Stephen Yelovich. Interment, Addison Cemetery.
