  BOWSER
  
  Vernon V. Bowser, 78, of Somerset RD 2, died Nov. 23, 1977 at
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born Dec. 29, 1898 in Meyersdale, he
  was the son of the late Solomon and Lydia (Hady) Bowser.  He was
  preceded in death by his widow, Cora Racey Barndt.  Survived by two
  brothers, Harvey and Theodore, both of Canton, Ohio.  Preceded in
  death by three brothers and one sister.  He was a veteran of World
  War I and was a member of Company C (110th Infantry).  Friends
  received after 2 p.m. Friday in the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home. 
  Services conducted Saturday at 1:30 p.m. by the Rev. J. Wesley
  Spahn.  Interment, Casebeer Cemetery.
