Born March 20, 1928, in Fairmont, W.Va., she was the daughter of Bartley Taylor and Erma Malle. She is survived by her husband, George; one son, Robert G. of Confluence; one daughter, Stephanie Arrich of Guam; six grandchildren and one sister, Betty Jean Crupp of Bridgeport, W.Va. She was a member of Turkeyfoot Valley representative to Somerset County Bicentennial Committee, Order of Eastern Star, Trinity Chapter 138, former director of Somerset County Historical Society, member of Somerset County Artists Association, past president of Confluence Women's Civic Club. She was also a former secretary of Ursina Borough, former secretary of Somerset County Amateur Radio Club, member of Amateur Radio Relay League, former member of Military Affiliated Radio Service, Ursina Community Band, co-owner and operator of Old Country Store Antique, and member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Confluence. Funeral services were held Friday, June 18, at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence. Rev. McCurtis Allison officiated. Interment, St. Paul Cemetery. Meyersdale Republic, June 24, 1976 [B2263]
