Boxler, 59, of Somerset RD 5, died Dec. 11, 1988, at his residence. Born Oct. 18, 1929, in Johnstown, son of the late Romaine (Ringler) Griffin. Preceded in death by a brother, Charles J. Survived by his wife of 36 years, the former Sally Barron; and the following children: Ronald D. of Somerset RD 6; Mrs. David (Sally) Whipkey of Somerset; Elizabeth Boxler of Johnstown; and Scott E. of Somerset RD 5; also, 4 granddaughters; and a brother, Ronald G. of Cleveland, Ohio. Former owner of Walter A. Groh Company. Manager of McKelvie Oil Company, Somerset office. Korean War veteran with U.S. Air Force. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Friends will be received 7-9 p.m. Monday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home where funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev.
