Boyd, 77, Addison RD 1, died July 19, 1985, at his home. Born March 10, 1908, in Connellsville, he was a son of the late Charles and Bessie (May) Boyd. He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Margaret Pritchard; one son, Clark E. Boyd Jr., Scottdale; and three grandchildren. He was a member of the Addison United Methodist Church, where he was a past administrator-board chairman, and was a former member of the Christ United Methodist Church, Scottdale. He belonged to the Scottdale Masonic Lodge, the Uniontown Caravan, Tall Cedars, the Syria Shrine, the Scottdale Elks P.E.R., and Confluence Lions Club. He was a retired shipping foreman of the Scottdale Machine, Foundry, and Construction Company. Friends will be received at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, 7-9 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday and in the Ferguson Funeral Home, Scottdale, 6-9 p.m. Sunday where funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. August Twigg officiating. Interment, Greenridge Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Addison Methodist Church. Daily American, July 20, 1985 [B2270]
