DRUCILLA BOYD

  URSINA, May 13 - The body of Mrs. Drucilla Boyd was brought to Ursina on 
Thursday afternoon, May 7th, for interment in the Ursina Cemetery.  She was the 
widow of the late Benjamin Boyd, who died in Ursina about thirty years ago.  She 
was one of the pioneer residents of Ursina, and was well and popularly 
remembered here.
  Mrs. Boyd was born May 7th, 1850, and was aged 81 years.  She died on May 5th, 
at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Agnes Lawrence, at Hendersonville, N.C., after 
an illness of three weeks, following a paralytic stroke.
  She was a resident of Ursina until about twenty years ago, when she left here 
for Pittsburgh, where, for a number of years she made her home, and after that 
lived with her daughter in North Carolina, where she died.
