    Edward Roy Boyd, 71, Stoystown, formerly of Brookhaven, died May 21, 2007, at Lake
  Stonycreek. Born Oct. 8, 1935, in Stonycreek Township, son of Edward F. and Mary
  (Spangler) Boyd, Stoystown. Preceded in death by wives, the former Donna Berkebile and
  the former Mary Doris Carino. Survived by parents; daughters, Royce Ann Boyd, Bedford;
  and Jennifer (Jack) McKelvey, Wilmington, Del.; granddaughters, Jaclynn and Jenna
  McKelvey; sister, Claire Knaub, Stoystown; and former wife, Barbara J. Boyd, Wilmington.
  A 1953 graduate of Shanksville-Stonycreek High School. He served in the U.S. Army from
  1958-1960 and retired from Active Transportation, Twin Oaks. He was a member of the
  Teamsters Union. No viewing or visitation. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m.
  Saturday at St. Mark Lutheran Church, Shanksville. The Rev. Robert Way officiating.
  Interment Somerset County Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be given to ÒIn
  TouchÓ Hospice, 223 S. Pleasant Ave., Suite 103, Somerset, PA 15501. Arrangements by
  Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown.
