IDA BOYD

  Mrs. Ida Boyd, aged 61, wife of Elmer J. Boyd, died at 5 a.m., March 27, at 
her home on the Somerset-Stoystown Road.  She was stricken with a heart attack 
the preceding night and failed to rally. Mrs. Boyd was a daughter of Daniel and 
Mary (Beal) Gnagey, of Shady Lawn, Summit Twp., both deceased.
  Surviving are her husband and these children: Frank Boyd, a mortician in 
Harrisburg; Mary and Richard Boyd, both at home; Mrs. Leroy Zerfoss, Friedens, 
and Mrs. Frank Denner, Shanksville.  She also leaves a brother, Elmer Gnagey, 
Meyersdale, and seven grandchildren.
  Funeral services were conducted in the Somerset Church of the Brethren at 1:20 
p.m., March 30th, by Rev. T. R. Coffman, assisted by Rev. H. Q. Rhoads of 
Brotherton, after which her remains were taken to Meyersdale for interment in 
Union Cemetery.  Funeral arrangements were in charge of Mortician C. G. Hauger 
of Somerset.
