  BOYD
  
    James R. Boyd, 81, of Markleysburg RD 1, died Jan. 4, 1996, at his
  home.  He was born July 25, 1914, in Somerfield, a son of the late
  John D. and Fanny (Tressler) Boyd.  Preceded in death by his wife,
  Genevieve (Prinkey).  He is survived by a daughter, Jamie Boyd
  Caridi; two grandsons, Jason James and Christopher, all of Pittsburg,
  and a sister, Mary Minerd of Uniontown.  He was a U.S. Army veteran of
  World War II and a member of the Fayette County Chapter of D.A.V. 
  Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 9
  p.m. Sunday, at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where services
  will be held at 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev. David Lee officiating. 
  Interment, Addison Cemetery.
