  Thelma (Yoder) Griffith Bowser Boyd, 89, Somerset, died July 13, 2005, at
  Siemon Lakeview Manor. Born Oct. 11, 1915, in Somerset Township, she is the
  daughter of the late Francis "Frank" and Ella (Yoder) Yoder. Also preceded in
  death by husbands, Thomas Griffith and Earl Bowser, son, Harold "Babe"
  Griffith, nine brothers, and six sisters. Survived by children, Dean Griffith
  and wife Beth of Blasdell, N.Y., and Mrs. James (Nancy) Whipkey, Berlin.
  Grandchildren, Daniel Whipkey, Brenda Kramer, Kay Turner, Thomas Griffith and
  Robert Griffith, great- grandchildren, Heather, Jillian, Aaron, Katelin, Brande
  and Thomas. Sister of Elwood Yoder and wife Rosie and Frances Bruner both of
  Somerset. Member of Abundant Life Christian Center and a retired custodian at
  Somerset High School. Friends received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the
  Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where a service will be held at 11 a.m.
  Saturday. The Rev. Samuel Coughenour officiating. In lieu of flowers,
  contributions may be made to Abundant Life Christian Center, 309 Plank Road,
  Berlin, PA 15530. Interment in St. John's Cemetery.
