  BOYD
  
  William F. Boyd, 81, of Addison RD 1, died Oct. 27, 1988, in the
  Meyersdale Hospital.  Born Dec. 3, 1906, in Addison Township, a son
  of the late John D. and Fanny (Tressler) Boyd.  Survived by his wife,
  Emily (Rodahaver) Fike Boyd; two stepdaughters, Barbara Anne Nolf of
  Confluence; and Thea Jane Brown of Smethport; four grandchildren and
  one great-grandchild.  Two brothers, Palmer of Brownsville; and James
  of Markleysburg; and two sisters, Mary Miners of Uniontown; and
  Catherine Darby of Farmington.  Preceded in death by five brothers
  and five sisters.  He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church,
  Addison.  Friends will be received 2-p p.m. Saturday at the Humbert
  Funeral Home, Confluence, where services will be held Sunday at 2
  p.m. with the Rev. William Willson officiating.  Interment, Boyd
  family cemetery.
