  CHARLES C. BOYER
  
    Charles C. Boyer, 86, Meyersdale, died in the Somerset Community
  Hospital July 7.
    He was born July 9, 1879, in New Baltimore, a son of the late
  Jefferson and Elizabeth (Speicher) Boyer.
    He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Nettie Burkhart,
  in November, 1965.
    Mr. Boyer is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Stanley Gross of
  Meyersdale; a son, Rev. Merle W. Boyer, Kenosha, Wis.; five
  grandchildren; five great grandchildren, and one brother, Edward
  Boyer, Meyersdale.
    Service was held July 10 at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church,
  Meyersdale, with Rev. Charles E. Staub officiating.  Interment was in
  the Union Cemetery.
