She had been making her home in the Ohio city with a son, J. Bruce Boyer. Mrs. Boyer was born on April 5, 1866, a daughter of the late Solomon and Sally (Beal) Housel. She was a member of the Meyersdale Lutheran Church. Surviving are her husband, James W. Boyer; a daughter, Mrs. Horace Richards, Youngstown; the son, mentioned; a brother, Harvey Housel, Meyersdale R.D. 3; two sisters, Mrs. Maggie Cook of Meyersdale and Mrs. Barbara Cover of Daleville, Va., and 11 grandchildren. The remains were removed to the Konhaus Funeral Home here on Tuesday where friends were received until the services, which were conducted there at 1:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon by Rev. R. M. Dunkelberger, D.D., pastor of the Zion Lutheran Church. Interment was in the Union Cemetery. Meyersdale Republican, February 8, 1945
