BOYER Cora Ann Boyer, 74, of Hyndman RD 1, died Tuesday, February 26, 1985, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Elsie Ritchey, of Hyndman. She was born Dec. 11, 1910 in Southampton Township, Somerset County, daughter of the late Frank Kennell and Susan (Emerick) Kennell. She was a member of the Hyndman Senior Citizens, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Hyndman Volunteer Fire Department, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Kennells Mills Sportsmen's Club. She had attended Gladdens Church at Kennells Mills. Her husband, Roy L. Boyer, died Oct. 2, 1956. Surviving besides Mrs. Ritchey are another daughter, Mrs. Jean Lowery, Hyndman; two sons, Charles L. Boyer and William L. Boyer, both at home; three sisters, Mrs. Florence Sturtz, Mount Savage, Md.; Mrs. Naomi Emerick, RD 1; Mrs. Edna Deneen, Hooversville; one brother, Jesse Kennell, RD 1; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Friends were received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home where services were conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Ken L. Korns. Interment, Comps Cemetery. Pallbearers, all nephews, were Clyde Kennell, Harry Kennell, Ray Deneen and Herbert Sturtz. The Republic, March 7, 1985 [B2290]
