    David M. Boyer, 79, Gilbert Hollow Road, Hollsopple RD, died Oct.
  27, 2000 at Laurel Wood Convalescent Center.  Born Aug. 7, 1921 in
  Johnstown.  Son of Henry M. and Elsie V. Gardner Boyer.  Preceded in
  death by parents, infant son Barry David, brothers Clifford, Harry
  and Glenn, sisters Marian Eppley, Inez Humbert and Georgia Berkey. 
  Survived by wife of 53 years, former Margaret Eisaman; daughter
  Davene Kay, married to Leslie Thomas, Thomas Mills; son Allen D.
  "Butch," married to former Dwynell K. Gindelsperger of Thomas Dale;
  grandchildren Kevin, Kari, Matthew, Melissa and Melanie;
  great-grandchildren Luke, Miriam and Cameron, and sisters-in-law
  Evelyn Pritts and Dolores Derk, both of Waterford.  A member of the
  Emmanuel Baptist Church, Richland Township, Cambria County.  Retired
  clerk for Bethlehem Steel.  Friends received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7
  to 9 p.m. Sunday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell where
  service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, the Reverends C.J. Ickes, Ray
  Streets and Gary Anderson officiating.  Interment Thomas Mennonite
  Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to
  The American Cancer Society, 168 West Union Street, Somerset, Pa.
