  DONALD E. BOYER
  
    Donald E. Boyer, 62, of 441 Princeton Ave., Alpena, Mich., died
  Aug. 12, 1983.
    He was born Sept. 23, 1920, in Berlin.  He was preceded in death by
  a sister, Ardith.
    He is survived by wife, Pauline; mother, Ruth, of Cadillac, Mich.;
  brother, Gene, of Cadillac, Mich., and children, Donald Jr., of
  Alpena, Mich., and Barry, of Lapeer, Mich.
    He was a 1938 graduate of Somerset High School and 1949 graduate of
  the University of Pittsburgh.  Veteran of U.S. Army Air Corps, World
  War II; a member of the Rotary Club, Masonic Lodge and Shrine Club;
  retired from the J.C. Penny Co. as store manager in 1980.
    Memorials may be made to the Shriner's Crippled Children's Hospital.
