  Earl E. Boyer, 90, Glencoe RD 1, died Dec. 28, 1988, at Maple
  Mountain Manor, Berlin.  born Feb. 4, 1898; in Northampton Township,
  son of Josiah and Lydia (Bittner) Boyer.  Preceded in death by
  parents; wife, the former Bessie Martz, who died in 1981; son
  Wilbert; daughters:  Helen and Viola Schafer; one grandson; two
  sisters and one brother.  Survived by these children:  Mrs. Francis
  (Hazel) Breig, North Huntingdon; Mrs. Ralph (Mae) Leister, Glencoe RD
  1; Mrs. John (Faye) Reiber, St. Petersburg, Fla.; Mrs. Jay (Marie)
  Miller, Berlin RD 3; Mrs. Charles (Jean) Burk, Berlin RD 1; Ray,
  married to the former Thelma Woida, Fairhope RD 1; daughter-in-law,
  Mildred Boyer, and son-in-law, Webster Schafer; 27 grandchildren, 49
  great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.  Retired
  lumberman and farmer.  Family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Thursday,
  and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where
  service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Ralph Landis
  officiating.  Interment, Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
