Boyer, 72, of Finzel Road, died July 1, 1978, in Meyersdale Community Hospital where she was admitted on Friday. She had been in failing health for three years. Born in Finzel, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Ida (Rosenberger) Burdock. Her husband, Floyd Boyer, preceded her in death. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Frostburg. She was a member of Women of the Moose No. 348, a past senior regent and a member of the Eastern Garrett County Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Bolden, Finzel, Md., with whom she resided; Mrs. Arlene Edwards, Grantsville, Md.; and Mrs. Mildred Baker, Finzel, Md.; three sisters, Mrs. Charlotte McKenzie, Elyria, Ohio; Mrs. Katherine Eichhorn, and Mrs. May Hetz, Frostburg, Md.; one brother, Marshal Burdock, Meyersdale; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Services were conducted in the funeral home with the Rev. Donald F. Sause officiating. Interment was in Johnson Cemetery. Pallbearers, all grandsons, were Donald Bolden, David Bolden, Dean Bolden, Randy Baker, James Baker and Steve Bender. The Republic, July 6, 1978 [B2310]
