Boyer, 62, of Berlin RD 1, died May 19, 1981, at Siemon Lakeview Manor Estate. He was born April 22, 1919, in Stonycreek Township, son of the late William and Edna (Ross) Boyer. He is survived by wife, the former Margaret Campbell; daughter, Mrs. Edward (Cathy) Meshanko, Penn Run RD 1; son, Keith, at home; and one granddaughter; also sister, Mrs. David (Arlene) Goetz of Pittsburgh. He was a retired engineer with PennDOT. Member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Shanksville, and served as secretary of the church council. He was a member of the Mountain Field and Stream; Sportsman's Club, Roxbury; and AARP. Army veteran of World War II and a member of Harry Fisher Post No. 445, American Legion and Robert Walker Post No. 4333 VFW, both of Berlin. Friends were received at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home, Berlin. Funeral Services were held at St. Mark Lutheran Church, Shanksville, the Rev. Dale Biesecker Jr. officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park. Contributions in his memory to the Somerset County Unit, American Cancer Society, or St. Mark Lutheran Church Memorial Fund will be appreciated.
