Boyer, 64, Lake Worth, Fla., respected friend, beloved father, died near his home Dec. 25, 1997. Glenn was born in Shade Township, March 25, 1933, to Park and Callie (Wirick) Boyer. Preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, James and Charles. Survived by his children: Glenn F., Lantana, Fla.; Tammy J., Indian Lake; Sherri L., Somerset; Jeffery W., Somerset; Neil A., Indian Lake; Park, Charlotte, N.C.; one granddaughter, Vanessa Flori, Indian Lake. Glenn has one surviving brother, Telford (Ted), Long Beach, Calif.; three surviving sisters: Dorthy [sic] Clark, Southgate, Mich.; Sandra Laughlin, Southgate, Mich., and Marian Lang, Johnstown. Glenn served in the Army as a Map Compiler from 1953 till his Honorable Discharge in 1955, along with a Good Conduct Medal and National Defense Service Medal. Glenn went to pursue careers in the states of California, Pennsylvania and Lake Worth, Fla., where he was a resident for 26 years. Glenn finally retired from his business, Caribbean Air Surveys Inc., when his health forced him to give up his lifelong passion of flying. Glenn was an active member of Ye Anciente and Secret Order of Quiet Birdman of Palm Beach. Glenn's knowledge and wisdom will be missed forever. Daily American, December 30, 1997 [B2315]
