HERMAN W. BOYER

  Herman W. Boyer, 81, of Brothersvalley Twp., died Tuesday night at the home of 
his daughter, Mrs. Glenn Edmiston, following an illness of a week.  He was born 
on Dec. 12, 1861, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Chauncey Boyer, and had spent his entire 
life in this section.  His wife, Mrs. Sarah (Brant) Boyer, is dead.
  Surviving are five children - Frank W. and Wilson H., both of Berlin; Ross E. 
and Norman W., both of Cumberland, Md., and Mrs. Glenn Edmiston.  He was a 
brother of Norman Boyer, Glencoe, R.D.; Mrs. Ross Griffith, Kalamazoo, Mich., 
and Mrs. Elizabeth Baird, Edmore, Mich.
