  JAMES W. BOYER
  
    James W. Boyer, 79, died June 17 at Meyersdale Community Hospital.
    Born July 16, 1897, in Summit Township, he was a son of the late
  John and Margaret (Sass) Boyer.  He was preceded in death by his
  wife, Mrs. Nora (Klingerman) Boyer, and a daughter, Ruth Irwin.
    He is survived by two sons, Ralph Boyer, Garrett RD 1, and James
  Boyer, Orlando, Fla.; two daughters, Mrs. Margaretta Fike, of
  Meyersdale, and Mrs. Phyllis Broadwater, Rockwood RD 1; a brother,
  John Boyer, Somerset RD 5; a sister, Mrs. Mabel Duffy, Summerhill; 10
  grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
    Funeral services were held Monday at the Price Funeral Home with
  Rev. Lloyd Sechriest officiating.  Interment, Union Cemetery.
