  JOHN A. BOYER JR.
  
    John A. Boyer Jr., 78, of Somerset, died Dec. 16, 1983, at Mercy
  Hospital, Johnstown.
    He was born April 9, 1905, in Meyersdale, a son of the late John
  and Margaret (Sass) Boyer.  Also preceded in death by his wife, the
  former Mabel M. Ogline; two brothers, Harry and James; and one
  sister, Hilda Warner.  He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Ray (Mae
  Jean) Kimmel, Somerset; three grandchildren, Cynthia Harward, Sharon
  Denise Ashcraft and Cheryl Jean Kimmel.  Also one great-grandson,
  Kevin Ray Harward.  Also survived by a sister, Mrs. Robert (Mabel)
  Duffy of Summerhill.  He was a member of the Grace United Methodist
  Church and was a retired plumber and electrician.
    Friends were received at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home where
  services were held with the Rev. H. Wayne Beam officiating. 
  Interment, Husband Cemetery.
