  BOYER
  
    Katherine Elizabeth Boyer, 79, of Somerset RD 7, formerly of
  Fairchance, died July 12, 1993, in Somerset Hospital.  Born Nov. 25,
  1913, in Smithfield, Pa., daughter of late William H. and Sarah J.
  (Bromfield) Boyer.  Preceded in death by brothers, John A. and Paul
  B., and sister, Dorothy Boyer Bortner.  Survived by these sisters:
  Martha Davis, Florence, S.C.; Virginia Van Kirk, Latrobe, and Lillian
  D. Cain, Somerset; also number of nieces and nephews.  Member of
  Fairchance Presbyterian Church.  Attended St. Francis in the Fields
  Episcopal Church of Somerset.  Was member of Episcopal Church
  Women.  Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Wednesday and from 2 to
  4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the home of her niece, Mrs. Alfred
  Smith, Somerset RD 7.  She had made her home with Mrs. Smith since
  1979.  Friends received after 11 a.m. Friday at First Presbyterian
  Church, Fairchance, where service will be conducted at 1 p.m., with
  Rev. Marian Zinter officiating.  Interment, Fairchance Cemetery. 
  Arrangements in the charge of Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home.
