Boyer, 75, Philipsburg, formerly of Allegheny Township, died Oct. 6, 1986, at Philipsburg Hospital. Born Aug. 10, 1911, in Somerset, son of John W. and Lucinda (Sarver) Boyer. Preceded in death by parents; first wife, Bertha Fochtman; brother, Paul; stepson, Harold Bealich Jr. Survived by his wife, the former Marie Brickley; and these children: Mrs. Oscar (Lois) Speicher Jr., Manns Choice; Charles Boyer, Berlin RD 3; stepchildren: Mrs. Earl (Linnie) Potter and Odessa Vitarelli, both of Clearfield; eight grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and 11 step-great-grandchildren. Also a sister, Mrs. Katie Cameron, New Paris. Retired from New Enterprise Stone and Lime Company. Friends will be received 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home, Berlin, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, with the Rev. Eugene Bettinger O.
